INITIATIVES

Common Cause works to make a difference through litigations, advocacy and events. It uses democratic instruments available to citizens to try and address civic, environmental and developmental challenges arising out of lack of transparency and accountability in the system. For over a decade it has taken several initiatives in areas of governance, environment and human development. Its work on police, administrative and judicial reforms is acknowledged by experts and administrators alike. The new thrust of initiatives for the Common Cause team is in areas of education, health and dignity of work.
